We Need To "Reconfirm" Our Faith Frequently

It is not enough that said once that we accept Christ. We need to keep the relationship live. It is like reconfirming our travel plans. We had made our reservations at heaven by accepting Christ once. But then we need to periodically "reconfirm" that we are still going to make the trip. If we don't, like the air line companies, your name may get struck away from the list. Then we need to start all over again.

We need to keep the connection with the God alive at all the times. We have to proclaim our faith frequently. We need to be associated with god all the time.

Mercy and blessings flow from god. If we don't take advantage of them, we may lose them.

We have to be alert at all times. We can illustrate this with an example. When we are riding a bike, we need to keep it moving; otherwise we will fall down. It is not just enough that we had it going once and forget about it. Or like the airplane. Once you ascended, the engine has to keep working to keep it moving; otherwise it will fall down.

Christian life is like that we need to have constant tune-ups.

2 Corinthians 6:16 said that "You are the temple of God, the home of the living God." Don't do anything that is inappropriate in God's temple. Don’t take anything unclean. Treat yourself as the temple of god.

Romans 13:14 said:

Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to help you live as you should, and don't make plans to enjoy evil.

1 Corinthians 15:57 said it well.

How we thank God for all of this. (Transforming our earthly bodies into heavenly bodies that last forever at times of our death (see 1 Corinthians 15:53) It is he who makes us victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord! You know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
